A proper two-week road trip from Porto down to Lisbon with stops in Óbidos and Sintra.
The Drive
Renting a car made the trip feel much more open. The route via Óbidos and Sintra broke up the journey nicely and gave time to explore smaller towns without rushing.
Food & Coast
Porto delivered on the food front (especially the riverfront and the classic places in the old town). The coastline between the two cities was a highlight — long drives with stops at smaller beaches and seafood restaurants. Lisbon at the end felt like a natural conclusion rather than the main event.
